Heather Grant is based in Brisbane, Australia.
Since the early 1980s, she’s worked in media and professional communications as a journalist, feature writer, copy writer, publicist, sub-editor and media advisor.
Heather has worked in government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors, and has many years’ newsroom experience covering medical, business, and political rounds, as well as feature writing.
She is a regular writer for a number of national magazines including Honestly Woman, Good Health & Medicine, Australian Country Style and Notebook.
Heather is the author of Great Queensland Women, short stories about 21 women behind Queensland’s political, economic and social development, commissioned by the Queensland Government’s Office for Women as a tribute to the 2005 centenary of women gaining the right to vote.
She is also acknowledged as a proficient editor.
